Meetings between professionals, researchers and scientists with students, parents and teachers to encourage the efforts of vocational guidance for STEM careers
The Parents and Guardians’ Association, in collaboration with the Association of the Alumni of Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna organize informative and educational career guidance meetings, where parents and students are informed by specialists, intersect their opinions and engage in experiential workshops.
The organization of the 2nd and 4th meetings referring to STEM careers are supported by Ms. Argyri Panagiota, Mathematician of Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna.

Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna with the Association of Greek Chemists in the Researcher’s Night
The central event of the Researcher’s Night 2017 was held in the Centre of Cuture “Hellenic Cosmos” on Friday 29/9/2017. In the event participated our school students Myrto Bouza, Alexandra Nastou, Christina Ioannidou, Eirini Sergentani and Marianna Mitsioni, who, accompanied by their teacher Christodoulos Makedonas, represented the Association of Greek Chemists. Our school team presented to the public of all ages their project entitled “Utilizing the Solar Energy with the Help of Fruits and Vegetables from Greece”.
Event entitled “Volunteering: Values & Rights”
On Wednesday 8/3/2017 at 18:00 the open to the public event entitled “Volunteering: Values & Rights. The offer of the volunteer blood donor” was held in the amphitheatre of the Evangeliki Model School of Smyrna.
Erasmus+: Students’ film screening
On Thursday 2/3/2017 at 12:30 the film “Beautiful Numbers”, a creation of the Erasmus+ Greek students’ group, was screened in the school amphitheatre. The director of the film “Eteros Ego”, Mr. Sotiris Tsafoulias, attended the screening. After its end, a discussion about mathematics in the cinema was carried out.
3rd Mobility Meeting of the “Cinemaths Paradise” Erasmus+ KA2 European Project
From the 11th until the 17th December 2016, the Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna had the honour and joy to host students and teachers from the following European schools: IES Alcántara (Spain), Lycée Général Technologique J.M. Carriat (France), Agerbæk Skole (Denmark).
