Eirini Arnaouti holds
- a Ph.D. in Media Education from the Institute of Education, University of London.
- an MA in “Literature: Translation and Comparative Literature” from Essex University.
- a BA in English Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistriakon University of Athens.
She is currently a postgraduate student in “MA Education and Technology” in UCL Institute of Education, she speaks five foreign languages fluently (English, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish) and holds a certificate of ICT competence.
Her research interests focus on the use of media and CLIL method in foreign language teaching.
She has attended courses of translation, literature and civilization in “Cervantes” Spanish Institute and in the Swedish School of Athens and seminars of educational and cultural content, some of which with scholarships by the Institute of National Scholarships (Comenius and Erasmus+ programmes) and by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Sports.
She has worked in an administrative post in the British Council, she has taught in the University of London, in private language schools and in the state primary, secondary and post-secondary education. She was hired as a permanent English teacher in the secondary education in 2004, after succeeding in ASEP exams. She has been working in the Model High School of the Evangeliki School of Smyrna since 2013.
She has written various academic papers published in prominent international academic journals and papers for Greek and international conferences and she participates in conferences as a reviewer.
She carries out cultural and European projects (Erasmus+), interdisciplinary activities, and participates as a mentor in the mentoring programme of the Department of English Language and Literature of the National and Kapodistriakon University of Athens.
